VaultGuard is a code security scanning service that helps developers find leaked secrets, exposed data, and misconfigurations in their codebases. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not use cookies, do not track you across websites, and never sell your data.
When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your email address (required) and optionally your role and team size. This information is stored securely and used solely to contact you about early access availability.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics platform. Plausible does not collect any personal data or use cookies. It records only aggregate metrics: page URLs, referrer sources, browser type, and country-level location. No individual visitor profiles are created.
To prevent abuse, IP addresses are hashed using a one-way cryptographic function, stored temporarily in a distributed key-value store for rate limiting purposes, and automatically discarded within 60 seconds. We do not log or retain raw IP addresses. A hashed version of your IP address is also stored alongside your waitlist entry for abuse prevention purposes.
Waitlist data is used exclusively to contact you about early access to VaultGuard. Analytics data is used to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve the service. We never sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We do not use cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design, and our site does not set any first-party or third-party cookies.
Waitlist data is retained until you request deletion or for up to 12 months after the service launches, whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 2 years.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@vaultguard.sh. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all connections, Content Security Policy headers, strict access controls, and encrypted storage for all sensitive data at rest.
VaultGuard is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
