By accessing or using VaultGuard, including the website at vaultguard.sh, the web application at app.vaultguard.sh, the CLI tool, and any associated APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
VaultGuard is a code security platform that provides:
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to use VaultGuard. If you are registering on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
You agree not to:
VaultGuard requests read-only access to your repositories for scanning purposes. We do not store your source code — only metadata such as scan results, file paths, and line numbers. We request minimal permissions necessary to perform security scans.
Paid plans are billed monthly. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. We will provide at least 30 days notice before implementing any price changes to existing plans. Current pricing is available on our pricing page.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We offer a full refund if you cancel within the first 30 days of your initial subscription.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Enterprise customers may negotiate a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA) with guaranteed uptime commitments.
VaultGuard and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VaultGuard and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of your source code and any data you provide to the service.
VaultGuard is a security scanning tool, not a security guarantee. While we strive to detect as many issues as possible, no automated tool can find every vulnerability. In no event shall VaultGuard be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violations of these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. You may delete your account at any time through the web dashboard or by contacting support.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days notice via email or prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating formal proceedings.
For questions about these terms, contact us at legal@vaultguard.sh.
